2023 AGW Fellowships

AGW is pleased to announce that in 2023 it will award the following Fellowships:
Two (2) 2022 Barbara Hale Fellowships: Value $8,000 each

These Fellowships are open to students who, being Australian citizens or permanent residents, are enrolled in a research doctorate in any discipline at any Australian university.

One (1) 2023 Georgina Sweet Fellowship in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine: Value $7,000

This Fellowship is open to students who, being Australian citizens or permanent residents, are enrolled in a research doctorate in a STEMM discipline at any Australian university.

AGW Jennifer Strauss Fellowship

This Fellowship is offered biennially and is open to women who, being Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia, are enrolled at an Australian university for a PhD degree by research in the Humanities. Only citizens of Australia or Australian permanent residents may apply. The Fellowship is offered for the second and subsequent years of a doctoral program.

GWI Scholarships

AGW is a national affiliate (NFA) of Graduate Women International (GWI). GWI offers Fellowships and Grants for postgraduate international study similar to those offered by AGW.

Scholarships and Awards

A range of education awards are offered by associations of women graduates in NSW, South Australia, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.
